Spotlight searches can bring up long lists of results, and there are a few ways to navigate through them quickly. After you've typed in a spotlight search and you've got your list of search results growing down the right side of your screen, we all know you can use your up/down arrow keys to move through the list, but you can also hit Apple + up/down arrow key to jump down to the next group of results. Use Control + up/down arrow key to move to the top or bottom of the list. You can also use Apple (or Control) plus left/right arrow key to jump back to the beginning or end of the search field.
